I’m so glad you’re here. I’d love to share the story behind Ocean Blue Day Spa, a journey rooted in passion for health, beauty, and wellness that’s spanned over three decades.

👩‍⚕️ From Nursing to Natural Healing

My professional journey began as a Community Health Nurse at Beacon Community Services in Victoria. I’ve always had a deep desire to care for others, and nursing gave me that opportunity. But in 1989, I discovered my true passion—massage therapy. The ability to help people heal, relax, and restore through touch opened a new path for me.

💅 Licensed Esthetician & Entrepreneurial Spirit

In 2002, I became a licensed esthetician and opened my very first spa at the elegant Gatsby Mansion in Victoria, BC. This was the beginning of something beautiful.

From there, I expanded to offer services at other prestigious locations including the Ramada and Huntington hotels in Victoria. Each spa space reflected my core values: professional excellence, luxurious comfort, and client-centered care.

🏡 Comforts of Home Day Spa – Parksville, 2013

In 2013, I brought my vision to the heart of Parksville, opening Comforts Of Home Day Spa. This cozy retreat allowed me to continue providing personalized, professional care in a warm and welcoming setting.

🌊 Ocean Blue Day Spa – From Parksville to Port Alberni

In 2018, I launched the first location of Ocean Blue Day Spa at the stunning Bayside Oceanfront Resort in Parksville. The oceanfront views and serene atmosphere made it the perfect place to offer our signature upscale services.

In November 2024, I moved Ocean Blue Day Spa to Port Alberni, where we continue to grow and serve the community with passion, professionalism, and heart.
